Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Sharma Tech Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Android application Battery Care: Full Charge Alert (the “App”) and this website. We designed Battery Care as a battery monitoring and charging assistant. This policy is written in an implementation-neutral way: it explains the types of information the App may need in order to work, without claiming data practices that are not confirmed.
Information We Collect
Battery Care is a utility app. It is intended to show battery and charging information on your device and to alert you when a selected charge level is reached. We do not use this website to collect personal information through forms or accounts. We do not claim that the App collects, sells, or shares personal information for marketing purposes.
If a future version of the App or website begins collecting personal information, this policy will be updated to describe that practice.
Device and Battery Information
To provide its core features, the App may access device-provided battery information available through Android, which can include:
- Battery percentage / charge level
- Charging status (for example, whether the device is charging)
- Battery temperature while charging, where the device reports it
- Estimated time to full charge or remaining battery life, where available
- Battery health or related metrics, where supported by the device
This information is used to display battery status in the dashboard and to trigger alerts at the threshold you configure. Availability can vary by device, manufacturer, and Android version. Battery readings and estimates are provided by the system or derived from available system data; they are not a guarantee of actual battery performance.
How We Use Information
Battery and device status information is used to:
- Show battery monitoring details in the App
- Track charging progress for on-device display
- Trigger full-charge or charging alerts at your selected level
- Support sound, vibration, and overlay alert options you enable
We do not describe any use of this information for selling personal data, building advertising profiles, or unrelated analytics unless this policy is later updated to say so.
Permissions
The App may request Android permissions that are needed for its features. The exact permissions shown on your device depend on the installed version of the App and your Android version. Typical feature-related permissions can include notification access and, if you choose to enable it, permission to display alerts over other apps.
You can review and manage permissions in your device settings. If you deny a permission that a feature requires, that feature may not work as expected.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Battery Care may use them to inform you when charging reaches your configured threshold or when a related charging alert is triggered. You can control notification settings in the App and in Android system settings.
Overlay Permission
Battery Care can show a floating or top overlay alert when charging reaches the level you selected. Android may require a “display over other apps” (overlay) permission for this feature. If you enable overlay permission, it is used to display the charging alert over the app or screen you are currently using. If you do not grant this permission, overlay alerts will not be shown, though other in-app or notification alerts may still be available depending on your settings.
Data Storage
App settings such as your selected charge threshold and alert preferences (for example, sound or vibration) are stored to provide those features. This policy does not claim that personal account data is uploaded to Sharma Tech Labs servers. Local settings remain on your device unless a future version of the App introduces cloud backup or account features, in which case this policy will be updated.
Third-Party Services
The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may process information according to Google’s own policies when you download, install, or update the App. This Privacy Policy does not control those third-party practices.
If Battery Care uses additional third-party services that process personal data, those services operate under their own privacy policies, and this document will be updated to describe them.
Advertising
This policy does not identify any advertising partners. We do not claim that Battery Care currently uses a specific ad network. If advertising is added or if a third-party advertising service is used, this section will be updated.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate to a lightweight utility app, including limiting the information the App needs in order to provide battery monitoring and alerts. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
Battery Care is a general-audience utility app. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App or this website, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when a revision is published. Continued use of the App after an update means you should review the revised policy.
